first postjam update!

yes!! strawberry jam is over and has been judged and ranked and everything. we came in 25th place overall, out of 48 or so, which is a little disappointing. i think we would have done better if more people would have been convinced to play it but maybe that comes down to me choosing a subtle, sophisticated thumbnail image instead of something that would actually tempt people who are interested in horny games to click.

the categories that i cared most about, writing and aesthetics, we did a bit better! 14th for aesthetics which is remarkable for a twine game with only a handful or so of images, competing with like fully graphic animated games? and 4th for narrative, which what even?? how??? that is just incredible to me, knowing that enough people read and liked the story enough to give it an evenly high rating.

now that the judging is over, i have added the first update! it is very minor. there should be no more typos (thank you primarily to my partner, vavvle, and a reader, sergio cornaga, for rooting these out for me.) i expanded a couple scenes by a sentence or two. tangled has edited one of the drawings to make belle better match how hairy she is in the text and that has been added. that is about it! but there will be a bigger update with more art! dreams! revisions! maybe even music?? haha maybe that's unrealistic. right now i'm in a sock competition and also i want to write more stories so we'll see how much time i want to take fiddling with this one. please follow me or check back or whatever if you want to be kept apprised... because i'll probably talk about it? yeah! sure!
